Canbelego Joint Venture
Aeris Resources, through its subsidiary company Tritton Resources Pty Ltd, holds a 30% interest in the Canbelego Project (EL 6105) located in the Cobar region of NSW. The project is a joint venture with Oxley Resources (70% interest), a subsidiary company of Helix Resources (ASX:HLX). Exploration activities and management of the Exploration Licence are undertaken by Helix Resources. The project is considered to be prospective for high-grade, Cobar-style copper deposits analogous to the nearby CSA Copper Mine.
Recent drilling June 2022 intersected wide zones of copper sulphide mineralisation in two diamond core holes in the Canbelego Main Lode. A major drill program incorporating approximately 50 diamond core and reverse circulation holes is in progress testing mineralisation in the Main Lode as well as the newly identified Western Lodes.
Torrens Joint Venture
The Torrens Project is a South Australian greenfield exploration joint venture project between Aeris Resources (70% interest) and Kelaray Pty Ltd (a wholly owned subsidiary of Argonaut Resources NL).
The joint venture is exploring for Iron Oxide Copper‐Gold (IOCG) systems in the highly prospective Stuart Shelf region of South Australia. The project is situated 75km from BHP Group’s Olympic Dam mine and within 50 kilometres of OZ Mineral’s Carrapateena mine.
